Fixed Pricing – Ophthalmology
Our ophthalmology service provides an extensive range of treatment for both routine and urgent referrals. Using both medical and surgical techniques we accept referrals for all ocular conditions in dogs and cats. We offer the following procedures routinely.
Cherry Eye
(Third Eye Gland Prolapse)
Our fees are fixed at:

In the instance that there is a reoccurrence, revision surgery may be necessary*.
What does this include?
- Consultation with an Ophthalmologist
- Surgery
- 2 x Re-examinations
*Re-examinations within 3 months of the operation, will be charged at £50 per check-up, £110 thereafter.
Cataract Surgery
Our fees are fixed at:

*If any postoperative complications should arise within the first 6 months, a reduced enucleation fee will be charged of £500.
In the instance that there is a reoccurrence, revision surgery may be necessary*.

- Investigations include the following:

- Pre-op bloods (if applicable)
- Ocular ultrasound
- ERG as required
- Pre-op bloods (if applicable)
- Ocular ultrasound
- Overnight hospitalisation
- Cataract surgery (lens included)
- Initial medication (for the first 14 days post-surgery)
- Re-suturing under general anaesthetic (if required)
- TPA Injections
