Fixed Pricing – Cardiology
Introducing fixed pricing in our NEW Specialist-led interventional Cardiology service
At Paragon, our Cardiology service is headed by Chris Linney, one of the most experienced interventional cardiologists practising in the UK and Europe. We offer the following minimally invasive procedures routinely.
Our fees are fixed at £3600 for the two main congenital procedures - PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) and a BVP (balloon valvuloplasty).
What does this include?
- Consultation with Cardiologist
- Full pre-operative colour Doppler ultrasound
- Pre-operative blood work
- Hospitalisation
- General anaesthesia fees and monitoring
- Surgical procedure
- Post-operative colour Doppler ultrasound
- Procedural complications whilst hospitalised - although these are exceedingly uncommon
For a brand new pacemaker, our fixed fee is at £4100.

- Pacemaker implantation procedure
- Post-operative pacemaker monitoring during stay
- Procedural complications whilst hospitalised - although these are exceedingly uncommon
We use the latest batteries which have industry-leading battery life and remote monitoring capabilities, reducing the number of visits to the clinic and allowing pacemaker monitoring from home.

Timing of the follow-up assessments with ultrasound or pacemaker monitoring varies depending on the individual patient and are charged separately at the time of these appointments.
